Extraordinary Students — Exceptional Opportunities

Opportunity Grants of up to $3,000 enable successful applicants to design their own academic, research, internship, or service experience during the summer of their sophomore or junior year, or during a January term. These experiences beyond the normal curriculum can involve foreign study or travel. This support is in addition to other forms of funding (e.g., from the Dean of Faculty’s office, DavisConnects, the Goldfarb Center, or the student’s major department or program).
